Finally. I was stuck for a week. No matter! I am at 346.0 lbs today. So that’s awesome. That’s a total loss of 167+ lbs. I’m sure my ex-endocrinologist would correct me on that number, but I would cat-fight-scratch her eyes out if she dared to curl her lip or clear her throat to say a word! I have records, Dr. Lady!

I feel pretty good today. I have my ups and downs, but I think that’s living without a thyroid or gallbladder. The gastric bypass scars have healed nicely and are fading. My stomach is evening out a bit.

My energy is through the roof sometimes! That’s the most awesome-est thing so far. I want to actually do things and go places. I have to take it easy or take breaks sometimes, but for the most part, I’m doing good. I volunteered at my daughter’s school the other day and I couldn’t have done that just one year ago.

I feel like a human again. I can mom and housewife like I used to. I have goals again. I have my life back.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday! I sure am. 🙂

    1. I have lost 167 total. Some on my own, some with weight loss surgery. I lost 100 lbs. on my own then my thyroid went bad. Then I gained about 40 back, now I’ve lost 110 with my surgery. Weight loss surgery was the way to go for me. I had the gastric bypass. You can do it on your own, but surgery helps you get it off faster for sure. I was sick and getting older, so I needed help. I lost the surgery weight in about 4 1/2 months. It works!! The old-fashioned way took me years! Almost 4 years to get it off. And then it kept coming back. Good luck! Whatever you decide. Eating right is hard, but worth it. With the surgery, I don’t have to work out to lose weight. But it helps. Before surgery, I had to kill myself at the gym for hours. If losing weight is hard, you should check with your doctor, something may be wrong.

      1. Thank you so much for sharing it in depth and honesty. Well I don’t have that much which might require surgery. But I just can’t get back to gym or start any routine, for which I need a kick in the b***. So hopefully, your post will inspire me to start.

        Wish you best of health.
